P-Tech

The Australian Government has invested $5.1 million to pilot the P-TECH model in Australia*.  In 2016, Tec-NQ was selected as one of fourteen pilot schools across the country to establish a P-TECH (Pathways to Technology) program in partnership with local industry.

The program introduces emerging technologies through the 2018 Y10 Tec-PREP program from which up to 20 students will be selected to participate in an exclusive senior school STEM pilot introduced in alignment with the trade programs commencing in 2019.

*The Australian Government Department of Education and Training has engaged the Skilling Australia Foundation to assist local stakeholders to work together to implement P-TECH learning programs at all 14 P-TECH pilot sites.
